I’ve been a very big fan of making friends and that’s why I have so many people around me even though my circle is very small. My circle is small but there are many friends around me and I’ve been able to learn a lot from all of them.
Let me just assume that I’m very lucky to have reasonable and sensible friends. Out of all my friends, there are a lot of them whom I’ve learnt basic things about life from and I’m hoping to say a very big thank you to them.
Here, I’d be writing a letter to my friend to tell her thank you for all that she has done.
Dear Ojuolape,
Meeting you is a blessing and one of the best experiences I’ve had in my life so far. I can proudly say that I am grateful for meeting you and I bless the day I met you. You’re not just a friend but act as a sister, mother, advisor and my best friend herself.
I remember how we met in the bursar’s office eight years ago. I remember how we both stressed ourselves just to get the registration done.
You made me remember how you hugged me when I cried and you’re just so full of surprises. How would life have been if I never met you in the first place? You’re just so amazing, precious and loving.
Spending eight good years being your friend means a lot to me. We never had a fight that lasted a whole day because we can’t even do without each other.
Thank you for the love and the experiences we have. Thank you for making us go through tough times and beautiful moments together. Dear Ojuolape, I love you so much!
