It is the responsibility of every woman to take care of her health, I had been planning for months to visit my gynecologist for the annual checkups that are so necessary. In addition to the tests she performs in the office such as the vaginal ultrasound and cytology, she also sends me for blood tests, breast ultrasound, abdominal ultrasound and mammography, which although I do not like it very much because it hurts, it is a necessary evil.
I know that in my family cancer has shown its face, so taking care of me is mandatory. My father has been diagnosed with the disease for two years, I have already shared it several times in Hive; my grandfather also, although he has no treatment due to his age and my aunt (my dad’s sister) also suffered an episode that could be solved with an operation, we pray that it does not happen again, although we can not predispose ourselves and not draw conclusions, all members of the family must take care of ourselves.
Let’s continue with my story, I went to my consultation, the last time the doctor found me very well, I had a small fibroid that in her opinion did not cause any harm, but this time she found that I have two fibroids of considerable size, which means that they are growing and new ones are coming out, that makes it a sign of alarm. For the moment he told me to stay calm and wait until the following year to see if they had the same behavior and if they continued to grow and come out more then I had to have surgery because the only treatment to remove them was that. I was really scared, but now I have a mission to look for home remedies to help me with this diagnosis, I have a year to do it and wait for results. If you know of anything that will help me to expel these fibroids, I’ll read them in the comments.
I am still missing the results of the cytology and the mammogram, which I could not have because for the insurance I now have to enter the budget and wait for the letter of endorsement, which my husband did the same day and it was approved, but I have to wait for them to pass it in writing to go back to the clinic and have the medical study done.
The rest of the tests were done at the Women’s Unit of the clinic and although I was afraid of the abdominal ultrasound because the last time I had an inflamed colon and also in recent months I have not felt very well, having to do a little diet to relieve myself, well everything has given results because I had it well with some gas but nothing serious. I still need to have the results of almost all the medical studies and then go to the consultation with the doctor again for the appropriate treatment, the important thing is not to neglect ourselves and always be aware of our body.
I hope the rest of the results are favorable, because I am already worried enough about the fibroids and the prognosis. I still have one mammogram and all the results to know in a general way how my health is. In the meantime, I am still looking for an alternative remedy.

Es responsabilidad de cada mujer cuidar de su salud, tenia meses planificando visitar a la ginecóloga para realizarme los chequeos anuales que son tan necesarios. Además de los análisis que ella realiza en el consultorio como lo es el eco vaginal y la citología, también me manda a hacer exámenes de sangre, eco mamario, abdominal y mamografía, que aunque no me guste mucho por qué duele es un mal necesario.
Ya se que en mi familia el cáncer a sacado la cara, por lo que cuidarme es obligatorio. Mi padre tiene dos años diagnosticado con la enfermedad, ya lo he compartido en varias oportunidades en Hive; mi abuelo también, aunque él por su edad no tiene tratamiento y mi tía (hermana de mi papá) también sufrió un episodio que se pudo solventar con una operación, rogamos que no vuelva a ocurrir, aunque no podemos predisponernos y no sacar conclusiones, todos los integrantes de la familia debemos cuidarnos.
Continuamos con mi historia, fui a mi consulta, la ultima vez la doctora me encontró muy bien, tenía un pequeño mioma que en su opinión no causaba ningún daño, pero en esta ocasión encontró que tengo dos miomas de tamaño considerable, lo que quiere decir que están creciendo y saliendo nuevos, eso lo convierte es una muestra de alarma. Por los momento me dijo que me quedara tranquila que esperáramos al año siguiente a ver si tenían el mismo comportamiento y si seguían creciendo y saliendo más entonces tenía que operarme porque el único tratamiento para extraerlos era ese. De verdad me asusté, pero ahora tengo una misión de buscar remedios caseros que me ayuden con este diagnóstico, tengo un año para hacerlo y esperar que den resultados. Si sabes de algo que me ayude para expulsar estos miomas, las leo en los comentarios.
Todavía me faltan los resultados de la citología y la mamografía que no me la pude hacer porque para el seguro ahora se debe ingresar con el presupuesto y esperar la carta aval, lo que mi esposo hizo el mismo día y fue aprobada, pero hay que esperar que la pasen por escrito para volver a la clínica y hacerme el estudio médico.
El resto de los exámenes me los hice en la Unidad de la Mujer de la clínica y aunque le tenía miedo al eco abdominal pues la última vez había salido con el colon inflamado y además en los últimos meses no me he sentido muy bien, teniendo que hacer un poco de dieta para aliviarme, pues todo ha dado resultados porque lo tenía bien con algunos gases pero nada grave. Todavía me falta tener el resultado de casi todos los estudios médicos y posteriormente asistir a la consulta con la doctora nuevamente para el tratamiento pertinente, lo importante es no descuidarnos y estar siempre pendientes de nuestro cuerpo.
Espero que el resto de los resultados sean favorables, porque ya me preocupa bastante lo de los miomas y el pronóstico. Todavía quedan para hacerme la mamografía y obtener todos los resultados para saber de manera general como se encuentra mi salud. Mientras tanto, sigo buscando un remedio alternativo.
