Hello Hivians, or Hivers, as I have been told is the verbiage. This is my introductory post, which I understand is a tradition in the Hive ecosystem. I want to be upfront about this intro because as you read my post, you might get a little confused as to where it is going. But I assure you that if you follow me and my busy brain, you will see that it is a straight road with many stops, yay ADHD!!!.
My name is Bayge (pronounced like the color beige), and I chose this alternative spelling because the actual spelling was already taken(figures). At first, I thought a lot about what to write in my introduction. To be honest, my brain was so busy trying to put together something spectacular that would blow your minds, that I got burnt out. Yes,you can get burnt out from just thinking!
Then I had an epiphany,(we like big words over here). The fact is, I don't have to impress anyone in particular. One of the major reasons I decided to join the Hive blockchain is that there is no pressure from higher-ups or choking deadlines that make you question your sanity or life choices. You can just DO, following the community guidelines, of course (we are not outlaws here).
Anyway, let's meet Bayge. It is important to note that "beige flag" was one of the most used phrases of 2023, along with "Rizz," "situationship," and "swiftie," according to Oxford. Many people believe that the color beige represents something boring, something that doesn't excite you or give you butterflies, or something that is just too bland. Hence, it is used to describe a partner or anything that bores you really. However, the reality is that beige is a color of candor. It doesn't try to please everyone by being white and doesn't work too hard to be disliked by being black. It just exists. So, you either like it or you don't, but that doesn't mean it's boring. That's just an opinion, and everyone is entitled to their opinion.
This Beige is a bookworm and a proud member of the BookTok community (yes, we love red flags over here, this is a no-judgment zone). Writing is my jam, it's where I thrive and music is my happy place. And, let's not forget, I'm an ARMY (yes I stan BTS, also trying my best to save cos I know 2025 concert tickets are gonna be cutthroat). I love connecting with people and understanding how they process their thoughts or how their minds work. Trust me, there's never a dull moment around me. Get ready to discover more about me in the coming days!

Also, I mentioned ADHD in the beginning because I feel like 30% of active writers are on the spectrum, no matter how little. If you're on this table, please share how it affects or helps your writing in the comment section. Other mental health reps are welcome.
