Thanks for this awesome topic on whether I would grab the job opportunity that entails leaving my immediate family for two years, before they join me. For me, I will say yes to the job opportunity, even though I am a family woman that cherishes her family so much.
Honestly, nohing makes us happier han seeing our family thrive. As I am I don't mind leaving my family for sometime to prepare them a better life. My family and I have passed through some difficult times that we pray and don't mind anyone lifted to uplift others. People that are comfortable already may not mind the opportunity, but someone like who just wants to end the trend of lack and want wouldn't mind leaving them for two years. Sacrifice is something inevitable and since it's just for a numbered years. I don't mind.
What is the essence of staying together without comforts, when someone can actually go out there and endures and workshard for two years to change the story?
To be candid, I don't mind leaving them, if it will enable me to give us a better life. You know, I have a friend that works on the sea as a marine engineer. He only comes home twice a year, but each time he comes, he spends two months. Even though it sounds stupid, my friend is making cool cash. He just finished building his country home and it speaks luxury. He takes good care of his parents and siblings and they all knew the sacrice was Worth it.
Sometime in 2022, he wanted to engage his girlfriend and she felt reluctant because he was not always around. So, he urged her to marry him and just endure for two years, when he would have got a more stable position and relocate her to the state. She agreed,, they had their civil wedding and stayed with her for two months before he went back to work. Two years after, he had saved enough and had things working well for him. So, relocated his family to the US, where he lives and they are all doing fine.
I'm just saying some sacrifice are worth it. Thank God my husband is understanding and caring. I can entrust my children into his hand and be assured of maximum care. His work is also flexible, most times, he works from home, which makes everything easier for him. The children won't also be the problem since I have brought them up in the way of God. They are very understanding and emotionally intelligent. So, we are good.
