I would probably start with the farm if possible because I don't like hurting animals but at the same time, we kind of needed to do it for ourselves.

        I understand. When I had chickens, when they'd stop laying, I'd just continue to care for them and let them be. I was running a retired home for chickens, lol! I couldn't kill one to eat, so I took care of them instead.
