Everyone will leave this world someday and we all will be remembered for something. This doesn’t mean you can’t live the life you want. If you do good, you will be remembered for it and if you do bad, you get that too. Unfortunately, a lot of us don’t know when we are going to leave this world and that’s why it is sometimes advised that we live like there is no tomorrow because we can’t say when we all will die.
Have you ever been somewhere the dead is being remembered? What’s that one thing you notice? As for me, I notice that all the things the deceased did when he was alive is what people will say about him when he dies. That’s why the likes of Shakespeare and Michael Jackson were remembered for the work of art they shared with the world.
Our life is like a journey, it is full of moments, some more memorable than others, pause for a moment to think, if you would be at the end of the road, what are the footprints you wish to leave?
A footprint I’d love to leave is being kind to everyone. We never can tell who is who and I don’t even know so many people on this platform but being kind is a virtue. If you are kind to people, the world is definitely going to be kind to you back.
If people ever want to talk about me when I die, I want to leave that legacy of kindness.
Also, being kind to people does not mean I’m stupid because I’ve also seen some people who are being stupid but feel they are kind.
I’ve experienced being kind to people and people being kind to me so I know how it feels.
It puts a smile on my face and I just want to see myself put a smile on people’s faces before I leave this world.
