The incessant corruption spawned from Foggy Bottom, that has been gradually infiltrated into America over centuries, so infests the world that a cabal - presumably the heirs of the generational corruptors - are today radically deranging populations to facilitate a global coup d'etats across the breadth of nation states in a coordinated psyops campaign, utilizing the full arsenal of means at their disposal. While primarily able to profitably apply psychological manipulation via their propaganda generators, that arsenal includes industrial supply lines, of which food is particularly fundamental to both functionality of persons and potentiates their medical victimization by secondary pharmaceutical manipulation or medical elimination, finance, physical violence and war. Indeed, the world is at war, although most people are not at all aware of the exigency of their condition, deprived of the lens of history by which the present circumstances differ in magnitude from prior conditions. In a sense the world has always been at war, although the Machiavellian manipulators that comprises the bulk of humanities enemies acts of aggression has been pursuing incremental and limited goals heretofore. Today the final push is on to conquer the world, and every evidence indicates humanity is being successfully enslaved via the full panoply of mechanisms employed.

However, the nature of the beast committing the conquest demonstrates it's incompetence to rule, being psychopathic and incapable of functional socialization. It is certain to devolve into internecine squabbling as the pathological needs of the powerful megalomaniacs become freed of their common goal as that is achieved. Sadly, this means that only after the vast majority of people have been enslaved and/or are dead will the scrabble to become The Overlord ensue between the powerful factions incapable of sharing power. Corruptors competent to genocide populations to benefit the cabal are incompetent to thereafter share the power thereby gained, and will devolve into various geographic, industrial, and populist factions openly warring on one another. This will leave opportunities for survival and even felicity available to good people in coherent societies, if they are competent to create communities capable of providing their security, economic development, and accomplish rational political discourse and power.

Ancient prophecies and esoteric sciences agree on the tribulations and successions ongoing and coming. As has always, the survival of the best and brightest is underwritten while the less fit are left with luck on which to gamble. Since what may survive from the present civilization will necessarily require coherence, sound principles and beneficence to society will be the primary evolutionary metric sorting the gene pool. No one without good people covering them will be able to depend on personal wealth and technical means of security for their survival. Folks in communities with the coherence and capacity to effect industry will have better odds of making it through 2050, while them as don't wont.
