I'm not the type to always give a bad reviews on movies because I feel that the effort and time put into making every scene should count, so I tend to watch closely before giving my feedback on movies. But on a special note, when the movie is bad, I'm still gonna say it out loud.
This particular movie has a catchy title, "Who's Watching Us" I've been seeing it popping up in my notification, but I've been ignoring so one day, I decided to give it a try since it's been popping up. So I downloaded it. The movie is about an hour and some minutes duration but it took me about three days to finish it.
The plot
The starts with a parent, "Mrs. Harris," who is preparing to give her husband a perfect birthday date away from home; the babysitter she had known couldn't make it because the babysitter called in sick. So she had to look for another babysitter. Fortunately, her best friend linked her to Ruth, the new babysitter.
Ruth came to the house to babysit the two children, "Jasmine and Micah," when the parents went for the birthday date and were left alone by the kids and babysitter; they found out someone was watching them closely. Ruth and the kids have to look for all means to protect themselves.
My Review
With all my years of watching movies, I haven't seen any movie where the cast performed so poorly as this movie. From the way they spoke the actions involved were a no for me. I noticed it from the beginning of the movie, but I didn't want to conclude. So I decided to see what comes next and everything that was coming was portraying that same pattern.
The movie was super boring; at some point,, I was feeling sleepy. I even had to skip some parts because the movie wasn't what I expected.
Ruth's character is what I don't understand; let's start with her voice; the tone is too low, and she doesn't look like someone who can harm a person from the tone of her voice.
You can try it out, that is if you want. I'm gonna rate this movie a 2/10, and that's for the effort put into creating this piece.
