PLOT
A fantasy series that involves dark magic, trying to destroy evil forces orchestrated by Darken Rahl, a quest for revenge by a destined Seeker called Richard Cypher,a wizard called Zeddicus Zu'l Zorander and mother confessor kahlan Amnell.
Such a master piece, I remember watching this series around 2010, those times when we usually save money to either rent movie in stores or buy them at once. I invested alot of money into this series because I was obsessed with the character kahlan also known as mother confessor.
Favorite episodic story
Kahlan also known as mother confessor was given a love portion by a witch called Shota when they where all in a village called Brennidon, this love portion was given to her to fall deeply and madly in love with Richard Cypher.
This was one of the highlight of the series for me because I was actually rooting for the both of them to have something romantic with each other.
Richard on the other hand has always admired, loved her romantically but the duties of kahlan as the mother confessor was a restriction to him, even though we all know she actually do had some romantic feelings towards him which cannot be expressed physically.
Finally loosing interest
After few seasons and so many episodes, I felt the story lines where getting too boring, too dry and that element of romance between Richard Cypher and Kahlan Amnell where washed off.
Again, when they made kahlan Amnell get married to Darken Rahl, I was really angry.
Weird obsessions
The answer is yes,at that time I loved mother confessors name kahlan, so I wished anyone related to me that gives birth to a girl would name their baby after her but they didn't.
i also loved the way she carried herself,she was always clean even though they had been walking around the forest for weeks.
Finally
Overall, i felt the originality of all the magic that was shown in the screen. The crews did a great job in making it real, I feel so much was put into the making of this series and I give them accolades.
