Emile Hirschs performance was very strong and made us feel the ups and downs of Christophers character from enthusiasm at the beginning to pain and despair over time But the most important thing in the movie is the message Life is not just materialistic and searching for inner peace can be found in much simpler places than we all think.
The movie is full of beautiful natural scenes and in every scene you can see the beauty of nature that Christopher discovered on his journey But the subject is not all beautiful adventures because in the end he faces harsh challenges alone.
But there is another sad side to the movie and this focuses on the idea that sometimes we search for things in our lives to the point that we distance ourselves from those we love or those who can help us The ending is touching even if it has some sadness but it makes you think a lot about your relationship with the world around you.
