Today, I bring you my review on new movie I saw today. This probably isn’t your normal kind of movie but one you’ll love the twist and turns so let’s get right into it.
This movie dives into the life of Detective Bob Hightower, a divorcee trying to get his life back on track, live his life right and serve well. His ex wife on the other hand,went ahead to marry a black man and had their daughter Gabi staying with them.
Things weren’t good at the end of his ex wife’s as she always seemed to get into fights with her new husband. But the unfortunate happened one night when some petiole broke into their home, murder Bobs ex wife and her new husband and kidnapped his daughter, Gabi.
This news broke Bob to the core but he was hell bent on finding his daughter Gabi. The local investigation wasn’t heading anywhere and so Bob took matters into his own hands to find his daughter. That’s how he met Casey, a young lady who was an ex cult member. Apparently, she also got kidnapped from her home by these same people who happened to be cult members led by a man named Cyrus. He was like their God and everyone worshiped and protected him.
Casey made it her life’s goal to save Gabi from this cult because they were going to turn her into one of the. Casey and Bob hit the road journeying to find this cult and save Gabi. Their first stop was at their tattoo man’s place. He was the one in charge of giving all the people in the cult any tattoo they wanted and he was the best at it. This meant that he knew the whereabouts of Cyrus and his people. Bob got a tattoo to fit into the crowd and they hit the road.
Soon enough, they were getting close but Cyrus knew what they were up to and attacked them before they could attack him. Eventually, they decided to come to a deal where Cyrus would hand Gabi over to them if they are able to steal some money from someone. The deal was done and everything was set. But after the exchange, Cyrus sent out his people after Gabi.
At the end of the day, Gabi, Bob and Casey made it out alive. Cyrus on the other hand wasn’t resting until Casey was dead. She on the other hand had other place to take Cyrus out and she did it very well. At the end, she succeeded in getting to Cyrus and letting him ‘cross over’ as that was the only way she could liver her life freely. Eventually, she went to back to Bob and got her life back on track.
I would rate this movie a 9/10 because I actually underestimated it and it seems that’s what I’ve been doing these days with all the movies I’ve seen recently.
My mind was literally made up that this movie was whack and I was still going to watch it regardless but it turns out I loved it. This movie is one I’d recommend to anyone out there because the plot is very great and you’d love it.
