Hello friends, in this post I want to talk to you about a movie, which was based on real events.
The film begins in a Rugby game, in October 1972 in Uruguay, the team loses the game after a failed play by one of its players.
After the defeat they all collect money, they even make invitations in order to fill the plane that will take them to Santiago de Chile where their next games will be. They manage to gather everyone and the flight takes off with 40 passengers, but not before taking a photo together that would go down in history.
Already in the air when they passed the Andes mountain range, the plane shook due to strong turbulence, they were not scared and continued their trip without worrying, since Sergeant Carlos Roque explained to them that it is normal due to the temperature changes in the wind.
After a while, everything was normal, there was laughter, stories and jokes, when a sudden descent of the plane occurs, shaking all the passengers suddenly, the tail of the plane hits the mountain, destroying the entire rear part, expelling half of the passengers, while those in front were compressed by the force of the braking that impacts the cold snow between two mountains.
Numa wakes up and begins to look for survivors, finding Roberto next to the medical student who helps him. At that moment a fight to survive begins.
That night they improvise, the cold is devastating, they go to bed together, side by side to avoid freezing, although not everyone would arrive the next morning. When it dawns, the sun rises, warming up a little, they gather to prepare what was left of the plane, making it a shelter, they accommodate Nando and Susana, who are badly injured, to try to cure them. The others look for food, drinks, clothing, anything they can find that helps them survive,
Marcelo is in charge of making the food yield enough for everyone to stay alive, while the rescue arrives.
The second night is just as hard as the first, but at dawn they begin to improvise and make a filter to get water, they make a cross in the snow as a form of help. They hear an engine sound, it was a plane, but although they did not see them, hopes do not fade. Numa suggests looking for batteries for the radio in the luggage, which would allow them to communicate and ask for help. They go out in search of the tail of the plane, but when trying to climb the mountain they hear the noise of an avalanche and abandon the search.
On the sixth day, without food, they have no choice but to think about feeding on the frozen lifeless bodies. A discussion breaks out between everyone, some in favor and others in total negativity.
With no other alternatives after spending another cold night and even a storm, Fito and his cousin Eduardo prepare the bodies away from the visits of others, preventing them from feeling bad about it, but it is all part of the survival actions.
They find a small radio and when they turn it on they hear that they have suspended the search due to poor vision, waiting for the weather to improve. After several days, the search for the tail of the plane is in vain, the snowfall is more intense, although strength is diminishing, hopes are not.
Already on the 17th day of the tragedy, the group is more stable, they share together inside the shelter, they even sing, releasing tension and mixed feelings.
That night another storm occurs and an avalanche buries the plane, leaving them without leaving for 4 days under the snow. Numa, who was closest to a window, managed to break it, getting out although hurting his leg, this act once again saved everyone's lives.
Already on day 36, without seeing any other way out, Nando and Roberto decide to go out in search of help, after several days of walking in the snow and spending the harshest nights in history, they find a river where they stop to drink water, and instantly they find a muleteer on his horse who throws them a paper, which they write saying who they are and asking for help for their companions.
The news reached the air force, in a matter of minutes, and the world stood up, the journalists arrived to witness the rescue of history, Nando and Roberto directed the route of the helicopters, while in the place where the survivors were, hope returned with immense joy, they prepared themselves by combing their hair, they stretched out their clothes, all so that the world could see them groomed.
The rescue teams arrive, taking them from the place that was their home for 70 days, taking them to the hospital where they were treated and cared for for a time, until their dehydrated and anemic bodies recovered.
That day, December 22, the world learned the names of the 16 survivors of the tragic plane crash, known as heroes we will never forget.
I want to tell you that this film marked me from the beginning of the story, the teachings and life lesson it shows us. The camaraderie that is found at all times, the hopes and the fight to survive even thinking that everything is lost. Their values and commitment are important details in the film, in addition to knowing that it is something that happened in real life, it gives me goosebumps.

Hola amigos, en este post quiero hablarles de una película, que fue basada en hechos reales.
El filme comienza en un juego de Rugby, en octubre de 1972 en Uruguay el equipo pierde el partido tras una jugada fallida de uno de sus jugadores.
Tras la derrota recolectan dinero entre todos, hasta hacen invitaciones con el fin de llenar el avión que los llevará para Santiago de Chile donde será sus próximos juegos. Consiguen reunir a todos y el vuelo despega con 40 pasajeros, pero no sin antes tomarse una foto juntos que quedaría para la historia.
Ya en el aire cuando pasaban la cordillera de los Andes el avion se estremeció debido a fuertes turbulencias, no se asustaron y siguieron su viaje sin preocuparse, ya que el sargento Carlos Roque les explica que es algo normal debido a lis cambios de temperatura en el viento.
Al pasar un rato, todo estaba normal había risas, cuentos y bromas, cuando ocurre un descenso repentino del avión agitando todos los pasajeros bruscamente, la cola del avión impacta con la montaña destrozandose toda la parte trasera, expulsando a la mitad de los pasajeros, mientras los que estaban al frente fueron comprimidos por la fuerza del frenado que impacta en la fria nieve entre dos montañas.
Numa despierta y cominza a buscar sobrevivientes, encuentra a Roberto al lado al estudiante de medicina que lo ayuda. En ese momento empieza una lucha por sobrevivir.
Esa noche improvisan, el frío es devastador se acuestan juntos, unos al lado del otro para evitar congelarse, aunque no todos llegarian a la mañana siguiente. Cuando amanece, sale el sol calentando un poco, se reúnen para preparar lo que quedó del avion haciendolo un refugio, acomodan a Nando y Susana que estan mal herido para tratar de curarlos. Los demás buscan comida, bebidas, ropa, todo lo que encuentren que sirva de ayuda para sobrevivir,
Marcelo se encarga de hacer que la comida rinda lo suficiente para que todos se mantengan vivos, mientras que llega el rescate.
La segunda noche es igual de dura que la primera, pero al amanecer comienzan a improvisar y hacen un filtro para sacar agua, hacen una cruz en la nieve como forma de auxilio. Escuchan un sonido de motor, era un avión, pero aunque no los vio las esperanzas no se desvanecen. Numa propone buscar en los equipajes baterías para la radio, eso les permitirían comunicarse y pedir ayuda. Salen en la búsqueda de la cola del avión, pero al tratar de subir la montaña sienten el ruido de una avalancha y abandonan la búsqueda.
Al sexto día ya sin comida no les queda mas remedio que pensar en alimentarse de los cuerpos sin vida congelados, se desata una discusión entre todos, unos a favor y otros en total negatividad.
Sin más alternativas después de pasar otra noche con frío y hasta una tormenta, Fito y su primo Eduardo preparan los cuerpos fuera de la visita de los demás, evitando que se sientan mal por ello, pero todo es parte de las acciones de supervivencia.
Encuentran una pequeña radio y al encenderla escuchan que han suspendido la búsqueda por la mala visión, esperando que mejore el clima. Luego de varios días, la búsqueda de la cola del avión es envano, las nevadas son más intensas, aunque las fuerzas disminuyen, las esperanzas no.
Ya en el día 17 de la tragedia, el grupo está mas estable, comparten juntos dentro del refugio, hasta cantan, liberando la tensión y los sentimientos encontrados.
Esa noche ocurre otra tormenta y una avalancha entierra el avión, dejandolos sin salir por 4 días bajo la nieve. Numa que era el que se encontraba mas cerca de una ventanilla logra romperla, saliendo aunque haciendolse daño en la pierna, este acto salvo nuevamente la vida de todos.
Ya en el dia 36, sin ver otra salida, Nando y Roberto deciden salir en busca de ayuda, luego de varios dias de caminar en la nieve y pasar las noches mas crudas de la historia, encuentran un río donde se detienen a beber agua, y al instante encuentran un arriero en su caballo que le lanza un papel, el cual escriben diciendo quienes son y pidiendo ayuda para sus compañeros.
La noticia llegó a la fuerza aérea, en cuestion de minutos, ya el mundo se puso de pié, los periodistas llegaban para presenciar el rescate de la historia, Nando y Roberto dirigian la ruta de los helicópteros, mientras en el lugar donde estaban los sobrevivientes, la esperanza volvió con una alegría inmensa, se prepararon peinandose, se estiraron la ropa, todo para que el mundo los vea arreglados.
Llegan los equipos de rescate sacándolos del lugar que fue su hogar durante 70 día, llevándolos al hospital donde fueron atendidos y cuidados durante un tiempo, hasta que sus cuerpos deshidratados y anémicos se repusieron.
Ese día del 22 de diciembre, el mundo se enteró de los nombres de los 16 sobrevivientes del trágico accidente de avión, conocidos como héroes que nunca olvidaremos.
Quiero decirles que este filme me marcó desde que comenzó la historia, las enseñanzas y lección de vida que nos muestra. El compañerismo que se encuentra en todo momento, las esperanzas y la lucha por sobrevivir aún pensando que todo está perdido. Sus valores y compromiso son detalles importantes en la película, además de saber que es algo que sucedió en la vida real, me pone la piel de gallina.
