Favorite Fighting Movie

I was taught not to fight unless I absolutely had to in order to defend myself. I may have gotten in a few scraps anyways. ;) When my oldest son was really young we decided to put him in karate in order to help him gain confidence and give him an athletic outlet. He didn't stick with it but I feel like it was a great thing for him at the time. There is a part of me that wishes that he was still in karate and that he would have moved up the ranks but I really don't think his heart was in it.

While I am don't always think fighting is the answer to our problems, I do believe that a good fighting movie can be very entertaining! The focus for this contest is to pick a movie that falls into the fighting category such as boxing, martial arts, or some other hand to hand type of fighting. I would prefer that you don't dip into war movies as we may have that as a category in the future. But I think I will be pretty generous if ou try to fall into the category of fighting.

Give us a good review of the movie that you selected. Tell us about the fighting in the film. How did it make you feel? Did it reinforce your own beliefs about fighting? Do you train in any type of fighting? If you did want to train, what would you pursue? How does the movie relate to your own experiences? Was there anything about the fighting that made you feel uncomfortable?

Those are some ideas to get you started. Be original and give your most personal and engaging review if you want me to select your entry. Thanks for being here and for engaging with our contests. :)

If you have any questions or concerns feel free to tag me in the Discord channel (caulderfreeman). Enjoy this week's contest and good luck!
