Veggie yamballs

So it's children's day today, i couldn't help having that nostalgic feeling. When i was young my mum will always look for alternatives when ever we get tired of eating same food always. Yamball was one of it.

So i decided to make it today to celebrate my niece and nephew

Here's the step by step process in achieving it

Ingredients

A small tuber of yam
Carrots
Green beans
Onion
Pepper
Garlic
1 egg
Flour(crumb coating)
Biscuit
Butter


Peeled my yam cut into bit sizes washed and transferred to my put.

Added salt to taste and water and put on fire

Went ahead to wash and chop my carrots and green beans and to roughly blend my pepper using a mortal.


Because my yam was cut in small bites it didn't take long to cook. I cooked until tender. Transfer to a bowl and allow to coll down.


After five minutes of Cooling down, i transferred to my mortal so as to smash it. I i smash 80% of it.


Went ahead to add my carrots, roughly blend pepper mix, green beans and 1 seasoning cube for taste.


Added a table spoon of butter for flavor and mixed everything very well until fully combined.

For my crumb coat i added crumbs of biscuit to my flour and mixed, i also went ahead to crack my egg and add milk to it.

I molded my yam mix, deep into my egg mixture and followed with my flour and biscuits crumbs.

Deep fried and turned over once golden brown.

Yeeeh my yamballs it's ready. Came out to well, crispy on the outside and flavorful inside.

In my entire life I've eaten yam balls just once . That's was in grade 4 when my friend brought it to sch.
