Last 29th of July was Demple's birthday and we celebrated it at the Acacia Steak House which was the birthday celebrant's request. It was my first time dining there since I am not a steak person. Yes, I exist! I'd rather opt for Pork or chicken but not beef. When we arrived at the place the birthday celebrant was already waiting for us and the food was ready since she came earlier. She ordered a well-done and medium-rare steak with some pasta, mashed potatoes, and shrimp gambas.
Since the food was ready, I signaled the waiter to take out the cake I had given in secret earlier to sing her a happy birthday. She was surprised and thought we did not bring a cake for her. We asked the waiter to take some photos of us using the Instax mini first then our mobile phone. Right after the photo op, we dug in and enjoyed the dinner.
The rumor was true, they have sumptuous food indeed! I ate a few slices of the well-done steak and it was yum! Plus, the cake we ordered at Kaka was superb! The mixture of fruit and cheesecake is a perfect combo! Overall, we all had a great time!
