The Lively and Busy Night Market in Taal Batangas: Trying the Trending Cheesy Hotdog Sandwich and Long Potato French Fries

The night is really beautiful, the road is super busy, noisy, and a lot of people just keep on coming from left and right to experience a fun night in Taal, Batangas. And I am one of them, thinking about it now, I can't believe I get to experience a different night, far from the night I often had in Mindoro. I thought I wouldn't be able to experience something like this, you know, going into places and not just in Bansud. It's a new, beautiful experience for me, for sure. ┏(^0^)┛

The plan is to really just stroll around and enjoy the beautiful and bright lights in Taal. But seeing and smelling all the food in every food stall we came across was just so tempting that it made us hungry. It's hard to resist some of them, and seriously, if I had unlimited money, I would really try them all. It's a good thing I don't have that kind of money, or else I'll go back home with a huge tummy. Lol.

We also see this Thai-inspired slushie that my little brother really wanted to try. But he keeps on backing out. Lol. I think I watched something like this on Facebook before. And some people are hyping it too. I mean, what's the difference if you just drink it normally? I mean, I think the drink would taste better than this slushie type, right? Or maybe I'm wrong? Lol. Have you guys tried it already? What do you think of it?

I saw a homemade siomai on the next stall, so I decided to stop by too, but I changed my mind. Lol. Brother decides to get the squid ball, though. I just had a bite from him because it looks so good. Lol. But I don't like their sauce.

And then on the different stall, the cheesy hotdog sandwich caught my attention. I told them about it and said I want to try it. They are using Tender Juicy hotdogs, that's why I want them. There are people lining up in there too, so I thought it would taste good. And this kind of sandwich is really trending before because it is cheesy, but the price is really affordable. This one's fifty pesos.

And look, they are using fresh lettuce here. I'm not sure what kind of cheese they are using, but it's not Eden cheese, which is my favorite cheese brand. And you see those French fries there? They are selling it too, and it looks really good. I can't remember its price, but I think it is ranging from 50 to 60 pesos. We had one order of it too, just one because we already have the hotdog sandwich.

Here's the trending cheesy hotdog sandwich. I thought there would be more into it because people are hyping this kind of sandwich, but then, aigoooo. I was disappointed because it's not even hot. But I think I saw them heating it up in their oven, but not to the extent where the cheese will melt. I think it would taste even better if they melted the cheese a little. I mean, even if not as long as it is hot ಥ_ಥ. And it is too dry.

The fries, on the other hand, are saurrrrrr good. Omg! I should've just gotten this one and not the sandwich. It's kinda juicy but really, really crispy. And the cheese, it is perfect! I couldn't see how they make this, but I really love it. Mama and my little brother love it too. And I love that the sauce and the fries are not salty. When eaten together, it tastes really heavenly. I enjoyed it a lot. Seeing it made me crave it. But Batangas is too far for me to eat this again (≧▽≦).

Haha, seriously, it's hard to resist the smell. And with their appetizing look, hah, that's fuels it more. Lol

I miss strolling at night market since I have a baby I can't go for now, the hotdog sandwich it would be better if the cheese is melt, that would be okay there's always a next time.

Oh, thats too bad. Maybe once your baby get a bit older you can stroll together. It would be so much better for sure if its melted.

Parang ang laki tingnan Ng hotdog sandwich😁. Mas gusto KO yung fries with cheese.
Malapit Lang yata si @lhes dyan SA Taal batangas.😌

Mejo malaki naman kaso small TJ na hotdog kasi ginamit. Lolol. Unang kagat papay muna. Lol. Pero winner ang fries ah.

I think I would buy the cheesy hotdog sandwich too, because of the cheese. 😅 Good thing I'm not in your position to try it, coz same with you, I would be disappointed. 🫣

That night market sounds like such a fun and food-filled experience! Too bad the cheesy hotdog sandwich was a letdown, but at least the fries made up for it. Now I'm craving some crispy fries too!

Yah, yah, it's hard to walk lang coz there's so many people. Still its a fun experience. I didn't enjoy the sandwich but I enjoy naman the fries. Ehe

When I saw your blog and their is one thing that caught my attention and it is the FRIES. It really looks like tasty and delicious. Ahhhhh I miss to eat fries tho

When was the last time you had it? Maybe it's time to buy and eat it again ✨

I missed street foods. The cheesy hotdog sandwich looks great. I have not seen this one in the streets of Danao.

Really, maybe somewhere in there you can find some. Or better you just make it at home. I think that's better.

Happy heart and happy stomach.💗✨

Yeah, yeah, I had that after that quick trip there.

At least the fries were amazing, at first glance they look delicious.

So true, at least I enjoyed our food trip in there, thanks to that crispy fries.
