Oh, hey guys, Happy Sunday! So, we received another good blessing from Mommy D's nephew. These were taken here with a motorcycle, and the oldies immediately put something in it for it not to ripen faster. I actually didn't see it when it was brought here and got surprised too when I saw a bunch of bananas on our table. Mommy D also gave some Saba to Mama, and Mama ate it raw as according to her, it is healthier that way, which I agreed with. UwU

So here are the yummy blessings that we received. We actually received two kinds of bananas, which are Saging na Saba, and the other one is -errrr, I'm not really sure. I'm still having difficulty recognizing which is the "Lakatan" and "Latundan." These two are really similar, and even though the other one I think has a distinct smell, the thing is, I already lost my sense of smell, so I can't really smell it. Lol. Anyways, who cares about the name, right? They're all bananas, so that's that. Lolol (≧▽≦). But there's a lot of varieties of Banana in this world. I haven't tried all of them yet but I remember trying Señorita bananas before. How about you? How many kind of bamanas have you already tried?

When I think of the best Banana recipes, all I can think of is banana fritters. But it's not just your typical banana fritters that use wheat flour. What I mean is this, with a glutinous rice flour. It's Mommy D who introduced this recipe to us, and since trying it for the first time, it has become one of our favorite snacks. I just love the crunchy texture of it when it's fried. And once it cools down, another amazing experience for you, as you'll also love its chewy texture after just like 6 hours maybe.

Anyways, this special banana fritters really has simple ingredients. You'll only need four items to make it, which are the glutinous flour, sugar, salt, and water. You just have to mix all the dry ingredients and then gradually add the water to check the consistency of the batter. It should be not too watery or too thick either, it should be just in between. I'm sure y'all already know what I mean. And during its frying time, make sure to heat the oil well so that it won't stick to the pan.

By the way, I cut the banana into long strips and then put a few of them in the batter. Arrange it however you want, and then once the oil is already hot, adjust the fire to a medium heat because glutinous flour batter can get easily burnt. After that, let's cook it. Easy, no? I used four or five long strips of bananas in each one. It should not be too small or big either. Like that └( ^ω^)」. Mommy D really showered me with compliments while cooking this, saying how good I am at cooking this. And I was like, ƪ(˘⌣˘)ʃ. I'm just proud, sorry, lol.

So there it is, you can cook both sides, it depends on you. If each side turns brown, then you can already flip it. Just make sure that both sides are cooked well. This is the reason why I said to adjust the fire. We should give both sides a minute to be cooked, especially the batter and, of course, the bananas inside. And now here's our crunchy banana fritters. Later, after an hour, it will be so chewy, you'll love it too. Ah, I love it, the oldies love it, but I'm not sure if you'll love it. Well, you can try making it to see if you'll like it too.
