RE: Baking Bread Rolls

in Foodies Bee Hive4 days ago

ther than a trip to the nearest French bakery, around 10 miles from me, the local shop-bought bread is simply terrible.

That's what I thought too with all these baking I recently tried. The local bought bread is simply terrible. Not that I had authentic European bread but I went to some places with owners from EU and they are different ball game. Now, I am living in a smaller city and they don't have the actual good bread.

Also, looks like our baking brain is synced! My partner told me to try bread rolls next and I was looking for some easy recipe. I find recipes on youtube just don't really show you the texture that it should be. Now I know the consistency I am looking for since usually, it's something I still struggle during bread making :D

Oh.. and yes, just go full steam ahead, it's such a game changer and your bread will look straight out of bakery. Bookmarking this recipe since my birthday is coming up and I want to serve something that I baked. I'll let you know if I try this since you also factor in our temperature haha and I mean, it's something a lot of youtuber don't talk about :D

We are absolutely synched now because you mentioned apple crumble in your last post. A real British, 'proper' pudding served with lashings of hot custard, and traditionally, no damn cinnamon! I hate the stuff. My mum sent me the simple, grass roots recipe last night so it's also on my list!

Please do share the recipe cause I think the ones I keep seeing are always using cinnamon and honestly I don't vibe with cinnamon and it's a spice I rarely have at home too haha. Do tag me when you're baking it cause I wanna make a proper one this time
