Today i will be sharing kunun gyada recipe , it's made with peanuts and rice.
INGREDIENTS:
1 cup of rice
1 cup of raw groundnut
Sugar to taste
Blender
PROCEDURE:
Alway ensure the your hands are properly washed and every untensil you will be using are neat.
STEP 1:
Pick out the stones and dirts from the rice and ground nuts.soak the rice for some minutes to make it soft. Soak the groundnut too so it will be soft for blending, some people peel off the back of the groundnut before soaking it . But i prefer to soak it like that to have it full nutrients.
STEP 2 :
When the rice is soft, wash the rice and pot it on medium heat add little water leave it to boil .
STEP 3 :
Wash the soaked groudnut and blend it. For a clear white rice pudding its advisable to peel off the raw groudnut before blending because when you blend it without peeling it, it gives it a link pink color. But i prefer to make mine that way, so i didn't peel off the back of the groundnut before blending.
STEP 4 :
After blending, filter it to separate the milk and chaff. When you've finished getting the milk, add it to the pot of rice.
STEP 5:
Stir continually over medium heat until the mixture thickens to your liking.
Add sugar and its ready for you to enjoy 😋😋😋
