Last December, we had the chance to dine at the restaurant in Be Resort Mactan in Punta Engaño Road, Lapu-Lapu City, and it was such a memorable experience that I just have to share it here! As you can see in the pictures, the restaurant still had its festive Christmas decorations, adding a warm and cozy holiday vibe to our dinner. This is definitely a late post, but better late than never, right?
Be Resort is known for its stunning ambiance, and the dining experience lived up to our expectations. As anticipated, the food prices were on the higher side, but I must say, it was worth every peso. We ordered sizzling gambas, lechon kawali, and ceviche, and each dish brought its own unique flavors to the table.
The sizzling gambas was a highlight for my husband and me. It had just the right amount of spice to give it a delicious kick that we absolutely loved. Unfortunately, our little one, Zadie, couldn’t enjoy this dish because of the spiciness. But not to worry, she happily feasted on the lechon kawali. The lechon kawali was cooked to perfection—crispy on the outside and bursting with flavor in every bite. It’s a classic Filipino dish that never fails to please.
But the real star of the night was the ceviche. My husband is really a ceviche fan, so whenever we see a restaurant serving ceviche, we always end up ordering one. Out of all the restaurants we’ve tried that serve ceviche, this one easily made it to our top list. It was so fresh and perfectly seasoned, with just the right balance of acidity and spice. My husband enjoyed it so much that he ended up finishing the entire plate! That says a lot about how good it was.
Overall, our dinner at Be Resort Mactan was nothing short of wonderful. The food, the ambiance, and the holiday vibes all came together to make the experience truly special. If you’re in Lapu-Lapu City and looking for a great place to dine, we highly recommend trying their restaurant. And if you’re a fan of ceviche, don’t miss it! We’re already looking forward to our next visit.
