I'm so glad you liked it. It is—as you say—a moving song, and its simple words convey so much. Piero sang it in a different key; I sing it in E minor, and in the chorus, the mode changes to major, but only briefly, as an E chord appears but doesn't follow with an A chord, instead going to Am.
