I always enjoy having some clouds in the sky when the sun sets and rises. They add to the drama and typically hold a range of colors that looks quite magnificent. These shots were looking to the west, where the mountains start to peek over the horizon, and their outlines tend to stand out more as the colorful sky shifts first to brightness and then fades to dark.
