For the people in Sidomulyo Village, Aceh Indonesia, it is a village located in the interior of Aceh. This village is a village that has a high altitude as a highland village which is a little far from urban areas, but this village has several advantages, including holding a traditional market in the morning so that traders come from all over the city. This is coming to their village by bringing different merchandise. This is the strategy that the people here always indulge in so that they live in villages but they have a city feel, meaning that various traders come to their village to bring their respective merchandise.
I see that this is a unique village, different from other villages because not every village holds an event like this. However, in this village they are able to invite traders from various corners to come to their village bringing merchandise. This is a good thing for them and this is an advantage that must be imitated by neighboring villages who think this is good luck for this village. They have an advantage in terms of trade so that their village is known in urban centers. I also saw similar things from several traders who were present with the merchandise they brought. This is one way that the village must defend itself.
It can be seen from the pictures I took that traders were serving consumers and this time there were traders selling household materials such as kitchen materials, pans and the like. I saw a trader making transactions with buyers. How does body language sound like a negotiation with the price they are agreeing on? I see this is one of the consumers who is actively shopping at the morning market so that the traders will be even more enthusiastic about going in the following days. This is what I saw today how agility for a trader and also a consumer interacts with each other so we can say this transaction It will benefit both parties, traders don't have to go too far, but there are advantages and consumers also don't have to go too far to buy the goods they want.
You can also see in the picture the school children who come out during break time to see how the traditional market in their village is like because this market is only held once a week and one day and they really welcome this crowd so they also come out of the village to rest inside the school. to see the market situation. I wasn't able to take all of them, meaning I can only take a few pictures to represent that today the condition of the traditional market looks fine. We can also see a couple who have just had a child buying kitchen equipment and we can see their hands choosing the ingredients they want to buy.
Various styles of kitchen equipment and household equipment are shown by consumers and we can see this from the pictures I have taken. The consumers here always welcome the arrival of traders by buying the merchandise they bring. I see that both parties are still very eager. The traders still want to work together even though they have to go to the village over a long distance. However, with the welcome from the traders or the villagers by buying goods with them, they feel that this is something that we need to maintain, meaning that business communication is still being carried out and will continue to be carried out.
