Today I want to share with you what was the closing of the school project, this represents the end of a learning process, where a report or exhibition of achievements is presented. The teacher of the "Family and Community" space chose the patriotic and natural symbols. On the other hand, the classroom teachers chose "Marine animals".
The first project was entitled: Discovering our patriotic and natural symbols of Venezuela. These symbols are important for the learning and growth of each individual. The purpose of this project was to refresh the knowledge of patriotic and natural symbols. What we are looking for is for the children to recognize and identify each one of the symbols.
Patriotic symbols:

✓ The national anthem.
The Flag of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela (Its colors).
- Yellow: Represents the natural wealth.
- Blue: Represents the seas surrounding the Venezuelan Coasts.
- Red: Represents the spilled blood of our heroes.
- The eight white stars: Represent the ancient provinces.
The Coat of Arms: Coat of Arms was designed on March 12, 2006 (Current version).
The Hymn : Gloria al bravo pueblo, the lyrics are by Vicente Salias and the music by Juan José Landaeta.
Some girls wore costumes with the colors of the flag and the boys wore hats with the araguaney, the Turpial, the orchid and white flannels. These elements represent the identity of the nation and distinguish us from other countries.
The classroom teachers asked the representatives to identify their children with figures of sea animals. E.g.: shark, crab, starfish, octopus, squid, shrimp, dolphin, seal and seahorse. These are some of the sea animals.
We organized the meeting in the big room of the school, we placed several tables, one with the patriotic and natural symbols, drawings made by the children with the help of their parents, on another table, the puzzles of marine animals.
We also made a large billboard of marine animals, which was very beautiful. Marine animals are those that live in the sea, either on its surface, shores or in its depths. Some breathe oxygen dissolved in the water, through their gills or skin. Others breathe air through their lungs.
This project closure was great, the kids had fun and the learning was meaningful. This type of event reinforces the knowledge of both children and adults.

Algunas niñas llevaban trajes con los colores de la bandera y los niños sombreros con el araguaney, el Turpial, la orquídea y franelas blancas. Estos elementos representan la identidad de la nación y nos distinguen de otros países.
Las maestras de aula le pidieron a los representantes identificar a sus niños y niñas con figuras de animales del mar. Ejm: tiburón, cangrejo, estrella de mar, pulpo, calamar, camarón, delfín, foca y caballito de mar. Estos son algunos animales marinos.
Organizamos el encuentro en la sala grande del colegio, colocamos varias mesas, una con los símbolos patrios y naturales, dibujos hechos por los niños y niñas con ayuda de sus padres, en otra mesa, los rompecabezas de los animales marinos.
También se hizo una cartelera grande de los animales marinos, la cual quedó muy bonita. Los animales marinos son aquellos que viven en el mar, ya sea en su superficie, orillas o en sus profundidades. Algunos respiran el oxígeno disuelto en el agua, a través de las branquias o de la piel. Otros respiran el aire a través de los pulmones.
Este cierre de proyecto estuvo genial, los niños se divirtieron y el aprendizaje fue significativo. Este tipo de eventos refuerzan los conocimientos tantos de los pequeños como de los adultos.
