Una mirada al C.C. Cumaná Plaza (Esp/Ing)

Cuando visitamos el centro de la ciudad de Cumaná, tenemos dos opciones para hacer nuestro recorrido: la calle Mariño o la Bermúdez. Si nos decidimos por la segunda alternativa es imposible no girar la mirada a un edificio imponente que se alza en una esquina casi al finalizar la calle, se trata del Centro Comercial Cumaná Plaza . Un espacio destinado para el disfrute y la recreación.

When we visit the center of the city of Cumaná, we have two options for our tour: Mariño Street or Bermúdez Street. If we decide on the second alternative, it is impossible not to turn our gaze to an imposing building that rises on a corner almost at the end of the street, it is the shopping center Cumaná Plaza. A space destined for enjoyment and recreation.

En cuanto a su diseño, se puede decir que es atractivo, sus peculiares ventanas circulares, arqueadas y cuadradas le conceden un toque de elegancia. Además sus colores beige y vinotinto combinan muy bien. Cuenta con tres pisos, distribuidos para que los usuarios gocen de una mejor experiencia.

As for its design, it can be said that it is attractive, its peculiar circular, arched and square windows give it a touch of elegance. In addition, its beige and vinotint colors combine very well. It has three floors, distributed so that users enjoy a better experience.

Si hurgamos un poco en la memoria colectiva podremos encontrar que fue inaugurado el 29 de noviembre de 2009. El grupo empresarial Melesio Millán vio la necesidad de este recinto y acertó con su construcción. Desde entonces ha sido un punto de encuentro para importantes actividades (conciertos, concursos, presentaciones musicales, de grupos dancísticos, conmemoración de efemérides, entre otras) que amenizan las tardes.

If we delve a little into the collective memory we can find that it was inaugurated on November 29, 2009. The Melesio Millán business group saw the need for this venue and succeeded in its construction. Since then it has been a meeting point for important activities (concerts, contests, musical presentations, dance groups, commemoration of anniversaries, among others) that enliven the evenings.

En este centro se puede ir de compras (una gran ventaja es que algunos comercios aceptan HBD), cuenta con diversas tiendas de ropa, zapatos, perfumes, teléfonos, accesorios para vestir, también tiene un supermercado (Unicasa) donde se pueden adquirir alimentos y artículos para el hogar. El otro gran atractivo de este lugar es la Feria de comida, aquí podemos encontrar deliciosos platillos y postres para degustar en compañía de la familia. The last element of interest is that it has a parking lot.

In this center you can go shopping (a big advantage is that some stores accept HBD), it has several clothing stores, shoes, perfumes, telephones, clothing accessories, it also has a supermarket (Unicasa) where you can buy food and household items. The other great attraction of this place is the food fair, here we can find delicious dishes and desserts to enjoy with the family. Another element of interest is that it has a parking lot.

Desde mi perspectiva, lo que le falta a este sitio es una sala de cine, dado que el otro Centro Comercial Marina Plaza queda muy alejado y, por ello, los habitantes de la ciudad no lo frecuentan como antes. Quizás se podría tomar esta idea para una remodelación en un futuro cercano.

From my perspective, what this site lacks is a movie theater, since the other shopping center Marina Plaza is very far away and, therefore, the city's inhabitants do not frequent it as they used to. Perhaps this idea could be taken for a remodeling in the near future.
