grasshopper / Ditch Jewel Dragonfly

Hello friends, This is @mmiya from #Bangladesh.

Dear Hive lovers, today I will share with you the photography of a grasshopper, although in our village language it is called a grasshopper, its real name is the Ditch Jewel Dragonfly, taking pictures of this animal is very difficult, whenever I took my mobile to take a picture of this dragonfly, it flew away, after several attempts I was able to take a picture, the pictures were taken from two places.

The first two pictures were taken from the branches of a chili tree in front of our house, suddenly when I went out of the house I saw this grasshopper or dragonfly hanging from the tree, the first time I took a picture with my mobile, it flew away, after waiting for a while it came and sat on the same tree again and I was able to take a second picture.

The three pictures that have been shared after that were taken from a pond in front of our house, there is a small branch near the water of the pond, this grasshopper kept coming and sitting on that branch, I tried several times and was only able to take these three pictures, whenever I went to take a picture with my mobile, it flew away.

These grasshoppers or dragonflies are usually found in ponds, rivers or canals, they can recognize well, they usually catch and eat various types of small insects and small flies, in our area, these grasshoppers and dragonflies are more visible during the rainy season, they fly in groups during the rainy season.

Grasshoppers or dragonflies are very beautiful to look at, their heads are round and their bodies are long, they have four wings on their backs, they fly very easily with those wings, it is very nice to see when these animals fly together.
