Currently, we have floods in various districts including our district and neighboring districts. Especially in some of our neighboring upazilas, the size of the flood has been severe. Especially since our neighboring country India suddenly opened the dams without any warning, we have flash floods here and the intensity of the floods is so high that in many places the one-story roofs of the buildings have sunk and many people have been rendered homeless and some people have died. The news of human death is not less. Due to which many fisheries projects have been washed away. So at this time fishermen are catching different types of fish through their nets and now they are catching a lot of fish.
This morning my father went to the market and bought these fish which cost about 6 dollars. Basically they are now open water fish. Although the fishes were not that cheap in price but there were plenty of fishes. Especially due to floods, the water has risen and there are many currents in the water, so fishermen are able to catch a variety of fish with their nets. And every day they are able to earn a lot of money like this. Here also, fishermen are constantly catching different native fishes with different nets and due to the increase in water day by day, they are able to catch more fish. Although currently there is no flood in our village or neighboring villages, but the way the water is rising, it seems that our village may be submerged in water in a few days.
