Asian common toad

The animal that can be seen jumping around in the evening is the Asian common toad. This is a type of frog that usually sits quietly in the corner of the house during the day and at dusk they come out and jump around the yard and even go to where there is light and try to eat insects from there. When I was out last night there were several jumping around and I saw two together and tried to photograph them. They are known as Kunobang in our region. The upper part of their body looks uneven and divided into spots.

I have been walking around our yard at night for a long time and often see these frogs that start jumping as they approach. Sometimes they come close to the light and try to feed on small insects like mosquitoes. I like them very much, especially the way they jump at night or when it rains, some frogs make noises in the water. We have a few species of frogs here as I currently live in a village. That is why many different species and varieties of frogs are often seen here.

However, the reason they are more interesting to me is because I used to draw pictures of frogs when I was in school or college and studying biology as part of my science group. At that time I could draw many beautiful pictures of such frogs. Also in our practical class we worked on frogs. Anyway they are pretty cool to look at and especially when they jump and the scenes where they jump and occasionally grab and eat insects are pretty cool to watch.
