Ignoring those feelings can lead to denial, resentment, or even depression. So I think it's incredibly important to allow yourself to feel sadness.

Yep, that's so true, and I think it happens with all our emotions. If we ignore them or try to suppress them there will always be some kind of bad reaction to it.

Exactly, we should always allow ourselves to express any emotion that we might be feeling at any particular time for our own health's sake.
