Wow, @justclickindiva this gave me chills. I started reading for the missing sock… and suddenly I was completely pulled into Carrie’s story. The way you wrote it felt so real, so emotional. I could feel her hope, her fear, that moment of regret... all from a single sock left behind.

And the artwork? Absolutely stunning. The portal, the mood, the color, it all hits just right. You didn’t just join the Daily Spark, you turned it into a full cinematic moment. Thank you for sharing something so layered and personal. This one’s going to stay with me.

        Thank you so much for your lovely compliment for my story and design for the missing sock. I appreciate it and your support as well. I'm pleased you liked the story and how the design turned out. You know, my mom taught me that once you take on a project, do it well to the best of your ability...or don't do it at all. That advice stuck with me throughout my lifetime, and I've always felt it has served me well.

        I may not earn huge rewards for my work, but it's the joy of designing mixed media projects and entering the otherworldly realm while writing short story fiction that motivate me. Plus, I'm now retired. But offline projects are always chasing me.

        I hope to be able to join in on other Spark days. Take care.
