The world keeps going at a pace where life is made easier for everyone who can afford it. Life is beautiful when you have the means to enjoy it. A lot of innovations and technological inventions have made things easier and faster for us making it more comfortable. Just like I said, money is involved.
"Money is good." A common phrase you hear whenever people can afford things that make tasks or activities faster and easier for them. Innovations like cars, aeroplanes, trains, lights, etc, are something we are grateful for in today's age and not like the olden days when you'd have to walk miles or use camels to get to your destination or send letters to distant relatives or friends.
My favourite innovation has been solar energy.
Who discovered solar energy?
Edmond Becquerel discovered the principle behind solar energy in 1839. While working in his father’s laboratory and doing experiments about photography, he discovered that some materials can generate voltage and electric currents when exposed to light. source

An idea that came to replace electricity. Trust me, my country (Nigeria) has been suffering a great deal of electricity for years. Light is something important, in that it makes things faster for us. Light is so beautiful that just a dim could ward off darkness, and you'd see a glimmer of hope again.
Electricity is the major source of getting things done and enjoying a comfortable life and without it, everything seems boring and frustrating. We lived in an area in Ogun State with my parents years ago and for 4 years, we never saw light.
Many people had to rely on generators but the problem is the constant buying of fuel every time and servicing the generator once in a while. It got to a point where we had to accept our fate and move on with our lives.
We were already used to darkness that we forgot there was anything called light in that area, and even after four years, when the light came, we didn't believe it. No one screamed or got excited because it was something we didn't expect that night.
With electricity, we could charge our phones, drink chilled water and juice, make use of blenders, come online, and so on, but without this, everything becomes a deprivation to us.
Thank God for solar. The electricity company would be embarrassed because where I live, almost everyone has solar panels fixed in their homes and had forgotten there is anything called light, and on days they would need to use the generator, they put it on. In fact, we now have solar fridges and inverters to carry the whole appliances in the home, and with this, no one needs to be in darkness.

When I got my solar, it was something I kept thanking God for, and the invention of it replaced nepa completely. At least they won't have to come around passing bills around because who cares?

Whenever I feel the heat, I immediately put on the solar fan and enjoy a cool and sweet sleep. There's no more waiting in darkness or expecting light to come. In fact, I actually prefer solar to generator for several reasons. Solar has made my life easier so that I don't have to run around looking for where to charge my phones or fix a torchlight here and there. I switch on the light any time of the day.
My second favourite innovation is the internet. We don't have to travel miles just to see what's happening in the world or connect with our friends and loved ones. Everything is in the comfort of our space, making life more amazing and fun.
Whatever information we need to get, we quickly get hold of it within seconds and learning online is something we are grateful to the internet for. You don't have to go to school to learn some skills that are in demand today as everything is everywhere on the internet, and all you only need is a smartphone and a data subscription, and you are good to go.
Now, onto something I would want to innovate 😅 It’s kind of funny, but I will spill it. Just like @nkemakonam89 who wants to innovate a gadget that will find missing things. Lazy Nkem that doesn't want to stress herself 😅
But for me, if it's possible, I want to innovate a tool like an Air Xender that can transfer food virtually. 😀
I could remember mentioning this and wishing it was possible for my sisters who we both had some conversations via WhatsApp video, and both of them were oppressing me with a new meal they'd just learnt and prepared. I wanted to taste it but I couldn't. So, I wished a tool could be invented where we'd have a taste without having to get up or prepare it but in a virtual way. Wouldn't that be amazing? 😉
