Imagine a life where we have no one to talk to, friends, brother, aunty, cousin, uncle and you just there surviving and thriving alone, nobody prays for this kind of situation, I know some people might be experiencing this but I am sure they will try their best to make friends with at least one person, be virtually or physically.
When I say family, I don't necessarily mean brother, father, mother, and sis. There are some friends that also have an impact on a family, same as street friends or uncles that are not blood related or mentors that play the role of family to us. It took me time to notice this.
Building a family starts with you and how you describe everyone around you. Some friends have played a vital role in my life better than my brother has, but that doesn't mean I don't love my brother. However, the impact these friends have made on me has really transformed me into a better person.
When I say families are everything, I mean both the impact they have made towards us and the impact we will also make on them when the time comes or when needed. I can move mountains for my family because I understand the impact they have made on me, even though the street almost had me lost to it. I had so many flaws that my family didn't use this against me; instead, they trained me to be better and helped me focus on the right path and things to do.
I know not all families are perfect, but you can make a family with a friend if your main family does not understand you. Families are all about supporting each other and being there for each other.
