I had a big dream of becoming a medical doctor when I was still in secondary school but life humbled me and at a point, I gave up on the dream because I don't see a way of it coming through anymore.

One big regret I had was giving myself a one-year holiday after I finished secondary school, I told myself I was not processing anything until a year later... I did well on the 9 subjects I offered in school except 1, which was mathematics, and only 1 student in our class passed it... So most of my classmates sit for GCE and I was also advised to do the same but I refused saying there is time and I will do it after a year.
I secured a factory job that same year and forgot about school, the following year I secured a Job as a teacher and while I was busy trying to increase my salary and work experience, my mates were already in school, In 2014 I decided to give the school a chance again so I sat for GCE too but again I failed mathematics, Should I blame that subject for my predicament... I sat for Neco two years later and fortunately, I passed all the subjects.
This year was 2016 and most of my classmates were already done with school, that was when I started to do Jamb, my first jamb score was 214 but I could not use it to enter the School of Medicine, so I did another jamb and that was how I ended up writing jamb 4 times and the scores keep getting lower, so I gave up on school itself until someone recommended running a part-time program which is what I am currently, another mistake I made now is going for a course I am not good at and now it feels like I am wasting my time again in the department but I am already in it and will give me possible best to graduate in flying colors.

My life was not all messy, I found the hive blockchain during the struggling moment and that was the beginning of something new in my life, I was able to learn more about the online world, associate with people in other countries and even become so close with some who impacted my life in a great way.
I believed that my life played out the way God wanted it, If I had gone to school earlier maybe I wouldn't have had the time for the 2go app that connected me with the friend who later introduced the hive blockchain to me, No idea where I would be, probably with my certificate working for a company and being paid less than 100 dollars or God might do it in a way that I would secure a job in a good company where they pay me well, But I do not regret how my life turned out to be and I am grateful for where I am today.
I am not yet where I want to be, I have not achieved the financial freedom I want but it is still in the making and I pray not to fail in the process, the world is moving and we need to keep moving with it if we want to remain in the game.
The reason why many people do not achieve their dreams of financial freedom, especially men, is that life is not easy for our gender, and the responsibilities on us are too much for our age to bear, it starts at a tender age, the more we grow the more responsibilities we have, and the money we were supposed to use to grow is busy spent on taking care of family responsibilities and in the end, most just remain stagnant and can't move forward because of the obstacles formed by the responsibilities on our head... Ultimately, whoever is destined for greatness will make it as long as he works towards it... giving up was never an option.
