In this life, some people live an autopilot life, they react to whatever that show up. They might be very busy, solving problems, they work hard, but then deep down inside them , they actually know that something is actually missing. It is like climbing a ladder then at the top , you now realize that it is leaning against the wrong wall.
Even when it comes to success, if their is no direction, it most times turns to regret. You look back and then realise that you missed out on the area that really mattered to your life.

This can also be applicable to students, if you want to be an engineer, you don't just study, you pick the right subjects and habits. The vision you have for yourself is like a compass. But a student who has no clear vision will waste a lot of energy and focus drifting around and not even make progress.
This is the main reason why being visionary can be very much powerful. You have to know what really matters to you, then allowing yourself and the choices you make to be guided by it daily and not just live with intention or "autopilot".

You can start by a having mental picture of what you actually want to be , the future self you actually want for your current self, take a piece of paper and write down the things you want to remembered about, the value you want people to see in you.
Then whenever you are faced with a very tough decision, then ask yourself , which of this decision will actually bring me closer to my goal ?.
The most important part of clarity is that it brings purpose to your doorstep, and only purpose has the power to give your life a meaning and direction. A man with purpose is a man with direction, a man without purpose is a directionless man
