Hello Silver & Gold stackers! @thisismylife has continued her effort to increase involvement with another great question.

This question is a bit tricker than the last. She asks:

Since the start of your silver / gold stacking journey, do you think you've inspired people in your network to start stacking as well?

Or maybe you inspired complete strangers to get into stacking by creating silver / gold stacking content.

If one of the questions is answered with YES, do you have any clue how many you've inspired over the years?

This is a trickier question because unless the person we've inspired has come up and told us that we inspired them, we are just guessing when we answer this.

One reason I continue to do my Hive Goals posts is because people have replied to my posts telling how I inspire them to make their own Hive goals and/or motivate them in their Hive goals. I've also been @ mentioned in many goals posts saying the same thing. I can believe these people because I was really inspired by @jongolson and @bala41288 and I enjoyed their posts for a long time before I decided to start making my own.

A few months ago I added a silver stacking update to my goals post. In that time, I've gotten two comments from non-stackers expressing curiosity at it. Have I inspired these people to look into it more? Have I inspired any others who haven't said anything?

Anyone reading this—have I inspired you to start stacking silver?

I posted recently about my son finding 2 silver dimes and being motivated by that. I am gently nudging him by talking about silver in older coins and just older coins in general. Time will tell as to how much of an influence I'm having there.

Pretty good. I like it for conversation. It has none of the BS that Twitter does. No political fighting, no mobs attacking people over tweets, no constantly promotion. Just for connecting with folks and talking, it is really nice.

Oh my gosh, I totally overlooked this post, I was reading the comments and reminded that you mentioned maybe writing a post.. Thankfully, I checked :)

It's true that you can't know for sure unless someone really tells you directly. I think quite often though, such as with these hive goals post (I think you may have been my inspiration at the time too, lol) we acknowledge the fact that someone else started this initiative at least once. At least I know I do..

For me it's clear that most of the members in the silver community here have inspired me in some way already. It can be by sharing a certain coin from a certain collection, some history of a certain coin or just sharing their knowledge which I can use as resources now or in the future when I get lost on the web. I think it feels a bit safer asking advice from the people in the community here rather than a random person online.

Thank you for taking the time to write a post, I'm very sorry for catching it so late though!
