I view drawing and painting as ways for artists to express their emotions. I believe that all artists who create amazing, wild, or mind-blowing images were inspired by something. This inspiration could have originated from within or outside, the former in terms of emotions, reflections, and long-term experiences, and the latter from daily events, random sights, or people.
These elements have motivated me to consider creating this drawing I'm about telling you.
Having spent many years on this planet, I've witnessed a wide range of emotions—happiness, pain, failures, successes. I've both laughed and cried. What's most remarkable is that there's still so much more to experience, likely falling into the aforementioned categories but in unique ways.
So, considering everything I've seen and have yet to see, what I would love to draw is THE FUTURE.
The future I envision wouldn't harm nature; instead, it would safeguard it. What I aim to convey is that despite the presence of failures and successes, joy and pain, life and death, I intend to eradicate evil.
There will be no frustration, oppression of the less fortunate, or corruption. It will be a future where no one suffers until their last breath. Hard-working individuals won't beg for bread, and honest people won't face imprisonment. Life will be equitable and just.
In this future, sickness, racism, rape, and murder will cease to exist. There won't be any orphans; everyone will pass away in old age, though the timing will vary.
As mentioned earlier, this future will focus on nurturing nature. Humans will reciprocate the kindness nature provides. We will support their well-being as they support ours. This includes safeguarding trees, water, air, and soil. Any human activities that jeopardise their existence will not be part of this future. Through this, I hope that everyone, regardless of wealth, can enjoy a healthy lifestyle.
You may wonder why there will still be impoverished individuals. That's because some may choose not to work. In a future where there are no illicit means of gaining wealth, success will only come through hard work. It will be a time where everyone who puts in effort will reap the rewards, where fairness prevails, and there are no shortcuts. There will be no need for sayings like 'he who laughs last laughs best' or 'light at the end of the tunnel' to console those in perpetual suffering. Life will be straightforward for all.
I prefer to envision this drawing as a future rather than a new world because I cherish the beauty of our current world. The creator must have been an exceptional artist, evident in the beauty that surrounds us. I admire it and wouldn't consider creating another world; hence, I focus on creating a better future.
So, this would be my drawing, with the hope that it transforms into reality.
Everyone may have their own unique perspective on what I've expressed here. I welcome your thoughts in the comments section.

This post is in response to hive naija prompt: If you had the opportunity to draw just one thing, it could be anything in this world, and the drawing would become a reality. Tell us what you will draw and why that particular thing.
