Good morning everyone 🌞, guess we all did sleep well today? 😊
So today I'll be responding to this week prompt and of course number one or should I say the first prompt question caught my attention and that's what I'll be responding to😁😊😊😊😊😁😁😁😁😁.
I am someone that goes for quality rather than quantity, yeah quality serves better than quantity 🤷🤷.
So overtime I've been buying shoes some shoes will last while others will not.
It was time for my convocation in the university and we all know how graduands usually look peng, gorgeous, beautiful or better still and take away on that day🥰🥰🥰.
From their expensive clothes, to shoes, to jewelleries to makeup, to the means of transportation they use down to the venue of the convocation, to every and anything you can think of.
Having this in mind I had to look for all means to look presentable on the said day.
So before this day I did window shopping on how much the things I wanted buying cost, after doing that and being that I knew my financial status I had to start saving up ahead of time, this is what I call proper planning. I didn't want to be caught unawares so I started planning Asap(as soon as possible).
When I was sure I saved up enough money I asked my younger sister I call her my 5 and 6☺️☺️☺️ to escort me down to the boutique. On reaching there, I tried samples of gowns hunged there and just one perfectly suit me brought out my little shape😀😀🤗, my heart wss delighted i paid for it and left. Meanwhile the clothe I bought cost 9 thousand naira and that's about 9 HBD, one might feel it's isn't that expensive but well it was to me because that's the highest i have bought one single cloth and i did that because occasion demands it, if not nothing would make me buy such not when I know I'm trying to make ends meet.
The next or second thing I got was a shoe to match up the dress I bought, you know several times the shoe you use with a cloth has a way of promoting the cloth, even if you were to buy okarika(OK), and you brush it up well, and match it up with a good dressing shoe one seeing you will be thinking that all your outfits cost a fortune not knowing it's just packaging.
Being that I bought such dress(my most expensive) I had to get a shoe that commensurate with it. This time around I ordered for the shoe from an online vendor and it cost 13 thousand that's 13 HBD.
My joy knew no bound when I was able to purchase these things.
A day before the main occasion that's my convocation 🎓 I had to get to the studio and take beautiful pictures of myself 👇👇
To me these could be expensive but to you it might not. It doesn't mean I don't buy, but this amount would have gone for not just one item but in bulk or plenty items like the OK if you know what I mean🤷🤷🤦🤦🤦🤦😜😜😜😜😜.
Well in all I'm grateful to God I wasn't caught unfresh afterall on my convocation day✌️✌️✌️✌️.
The third thing I have ever bought infact this should have come first is my phone, mehn this phone cost me a fortune. It cost 102 thousand naira that's about 100HBD and more. Tecno Camon 18
The phone has served so many purposes, from easy communication to my love ones, to helping and aiding in my mobile photography and lastly to making Money here on hive. I think the money I used in purchasing have been recovered from my earnings on hive. I bought it 2022 when I was just back from my Nysc (a compulsory one year course here in Nigeria), it's 2years already 🤗🤗. 👇 👇👇
