There's a lot online resources can offer us but it demands our carefulness in choosing what to follow. Online hacks sometimes may be wrong.

I also learn online but I ensure, I'm not totally new to what I'm learning or I just pay for classes from trusted tutors.

        That's a very good way to go about it and you're right, we have to be very careful choosing what to learn.
