Long distance trips does it for me. Especially if it's an evening journey. Last time I did some journeying was a little over a week ago and I enjoyed it much, moreso because we left later - our bus moved at around 5:00 p.m.. I really wanted that the trip be longer.
While we got to our destination by a little to 11:00 p.m, my tavel buddies complained of fatigue meanwhile, I felt nothing. Or maybe, I did feel a little anxiety about visiting that location after a while.

Now to start from the top, I enjoy travelling and all the activities involved in the preparation. The packing-up is not something I dwell so much on because before I make a journey, I make a list of everything I need plus some which I assume that I would need.
Depending on what I have to go with and how long I would stay, I mostly just use a backpack. And to go into it are; wears for daytime and night, cosmetics, some accessories, gadgets, my note and pad, my glasses, footwear, some beverages(if there's a need) and any other thing else.
Contrary to popular opinion and assumption, I am that girl who doesn't get to fill three huge boxes just for a weekend getaway. Asides shovimg in an extra outfit, just in case, I go light. I know it sometimes takes a little struggle to not embark a trip with a full wardrobe. But from experience, the "to" trip could be all easy with the luggages but the "fro" trip is where problems lie.
For my journey to be enjoyable, I have to sit on the last seat when I travel by road, using a public transport. I like to get all of the comfort I can and so I do not subscribe to not sitting by the window. Sitting in the middlerow or between other passengers just makes me feel boxed. Traveling is like an adventure and I like to savour every bit of the activity. I find that it's quite inspirational too. For me, ideas flow really quick and nicely.
My journey gets even more exciting if/when the driver drives like he's in a car race. You know the kind where the passengers beg and curse the driver to go slow for live's sake? The kind were every swerve has the heart doing flips while passengers hold on to solid stuff for support? yeah, that one. I just like it so.
The only time I don't find a journey fun no more is when I felt like I am pressed(it's mostly in mind head but it's crazy). And so, it annoyingly takes my attention from all of the nice things I should be focusing on.
I already have explored road and rail travels. I look forward to many travel adventures especially intercountry travel by road. Other means too. I don't know how people dislike making trips but I understand we're all different. I should mention that, be it long or short, I am game.
Left to me, I would embark on trips every eke market day.
Thanks for gracing this post.
Greetings!
