Les cuento, me nombraron mis padres José Roberto aunque prefiero el Roberto que el José, a veces pienso que el José es un arquetipo del Carpintero, de constructor de aquel que transforma la materia, por lo tanto, tiene un mérito para mí, tengo 27 años de edad nací en Barquisimeto estado Lara , viví parte de mi adolescencia en el estado Trujillo junto a mi padre en un pueblito llamado Pampan, donde se fue desarrollando de manera progresiva el gusto por la literatura, artes pláticas, artesanía, carpintería, música, luthería, albañilería y la ecología, realice cursos de dibujo y pintura en la escuela de Artes de Trujillo "Asdrúbal Colmenares" aunque lo que más me atraía era la escultura y la luthería, solo que no las había en dicho plantel, conocí muy buenos maestros que no se titulaban como maestros, pero hoy sé que sus palabras iniciaron un camino de las cuales doy gracias.

Al culminar mi bachillerato me regreso a Barquisimeto e ingrese al taller libre de Escultura, en la escuela de artes "Martín Tovar y Tovar", donde tenía como objetivo comprender, manipular y dominar los aspectos de la escultura y a su vez iba desarrollando el arte de la Luthería de manera autodidacta, comprendí que la escultura era multidisciplinaria, donde se manejaban temas de carpintería, mampostería, albañilería, dibujo, química, física, matemática y filosofía, pues era maravilloso porque la luthería se dota de casi lo mismo.

At the end of my high school I returned to Barquisimeto and entered the free workshop of sculpture at the school of arts "Martin Tovar y Tovar", where I aimed to understand, manipulate and master the aspects of sculpture and in turn was developing the art of Lutherie in a self-taught way, I understood that sculpture was multidisciplinary, where carpentry, masonry, masonry, drawing, chemistry, physics, mathematics and philosophy were handled, it was wonderful because lutherie is endowed with almost the same.

Estudié Lic. En Artes Plástica en el decanato de humanidades y Artes de la UCLA, solo realice media carrera, me fue difícil seguir por temas económicos entre otros motivos, además de que luego me dedique a profundizar en el estudio de la luthería de Cordófonos de cuerda pulsada, pues tenía que elegir qué campo debería cultivar en esencia y eso fue la luthería en este oficio que no ha sido fácil y gracias al padre creador que no ha sido así, pues no tendría sentido si fuera simple, he tenido que abordarlo paso a paso “festina lente”, como sabemos se debe tener un espacio, herramientas, destreza, maderas y sobre todo paciencia, y cuando no se hereda nada (con esto me refiero a la herencia del conocimiento y herramientas) se empieza desde cero, sin maestros, sin guías, a través del ensayo y error, la escultura paso a un segundo plano.

He pasado varios años conectado con el atelier pienso que estos oficios son casi monásticos, solitarios y meditativo, ingrese en el 2023 a realizar un curso de un año, una especie de diplomado con una escuela de luthería social llamada "fabricando futuro" donde realice cuatro talleres; acústica y lenguaje musical, herramientas y materiales, construcción de guitarra clásica y Cordófonos latinoamericanos, fue un gran taller que nos brindó la tecnología virtual, ya que la escuela se encuentra en Argentina, Quilmes-Buenos aires, fue un taller diseñado para aquellos luthieres y personas con experiencia que quisieran profundizar con un poco más de metodología el proceso y ejecución de la construcción del sonido.

I studied B.A. in Plastic Arts at UCLA. In Plastic Arts in the deanship of humanities and Arts of the UCLA, I only made half a career, it was difficult for me to continue for economic issues among other reasons, besides that then I dedicated myself to deepen the study of the lutherie of Chordophones of plucked string, because I had to choose what field should cultivate in essence and that was the lutherie in this trade that has not been easy and thanks to the father creator that has not been so, as it would not make sense if it were simple, I had to approach it step by step "festina lente", as we know you must have a space, tools, skills, wood and above all patience, and when you do not inherit anything (by this I mean the inheritance of knowledge and tools) you start from scratch, without teachers, without guides, through trial and error, sculpture took a back seat.

I have spent several years connected with the atelier, I think that these trades are almost monastic, solitary and meditative, I entered in 2023 to take a one year course, a kind of diploma with a school of social lutherie called "fabricando futuro" where I did four workshops; acoustics and musical language, tools and materials, construction of classical guitar and Latin American Chordophones, it was a great workshop that gave us the virtual technology, since the school is located in Argentina, Quilmes-Buenos Aires, it was a workshop designed for those luthiers and people with experience who wanted to deepen with a little more knowledge and experience.

Muchas veces se torna difícil, pues hay una vida detrás y responsabilidades que se deben cumplir, los proyectos a veces van lentos por falta de fondos, pero como dice una máxima iniciática " la adversidad es la piedra con la que afilo mi espada" el momento es ahora el tiempo se debe aprovechar y mi serrucho, cepillo (de carpintero) y escofina no ha parado, es un oficio con filosofía de vida con un propósito de por medio.

Aunque no todo es virutas de madera, aserrín, lectura, herramientas, arte y música, me gusta cocinar en especial para una gran chica, mi pareja, mi esposa del alma, una hermosa chica creativa, donde ambos nos hemos acompañado en esta travesía de la vida, juntos forjando un lazo de unión, regando esa rosa interior, compartimos el gusto por el arte, la literatura entre otras cosas, es artista, dibujante y muchas cosas más, tenemos dos mascotas, dos perritos muy cariñosos la mayor es Nala, pero le decimos ñaña, es muy energética, le gusta mucho saltar y cazar y el menor, Dante (el viejo Dante) es muy perezoso, pero le gusta jugar con su pelota, solo piensa en comer.

Although not everything is wood shavings, sawdust, reading, tools, art and music, I like to cook especially for a great girl, my partner, my soul wife, a beautiful creative girl, where we both have accompanied each other in this journey of life, together forging a bond of union, watering that inner rose, we share a taste for art, We have two pets, two very affectionate dogs, the older one is Nala, but we call her ñaña, she is very energetic, she likes to jump and hunt and the younger one, Dante (old Dante) is very lazy, but he likes to play with his ball, he only thinks about eating.

Cabe destacar que no soy muy bueno en el área de tecnologías virtuales, digo que no soy muy bueno porque no estoy al 100% pendiente de las novedades de las redes, solo porque el oficio que desarrollo se le debe dedicar tiempo e investigación, pero estoy abierto a aprender y estabilizarme con el conocimiento necesario de la plataforma Web3.0 y todo lo que corresponda a este nuevo espacio de compartir.

Conocí a hive de un modo causal, pues estaba muy al pendiente de escribir y tener un blog, pues público por lo general lo que estoy haciendo en las redes más comunes, pero en hive observo que hay una interacción, un movimiento una visibilidad y además una recompensa que podría ayudar a seguir avanzando además de los derechos de autor, son espacios que motivan y esa es la idea, fui investigando hasta que escribí por Instagram, para que me compartieran información de cómo crear una cuenta y por allí comencé, luego @yonnathang me compartió algunas introducciones y otros aspectos de Hive para ir comprendiendo un poco más, tengo muchas cosas por conocer por supuesto, pero hay un tiempo para todo.

Mi propósito en dicha plataforma es la de compartir aquellas experiencias que suceden en el atelier, dar a conocer mi trabajo, los procesos de restauración y reparación de algún instrumento musical, la fabricación de un instrumento, reflexiones, el proceso creativo vinculado con las artes plásticas, herramientas, materiales, proyectos vinculados con lo social, viajes y comidas.

My purpose in this platform is to share those experiences that happen in the atelier, to share my work, the processes of restoration and repair of a musical instrument, the manufacture of an instrument, reflections, the creative process linked to the visual arts, tools, materials, projects related to social issues, travel and food.

Todos los susodichos con fines de que personas puedan apreciar lo que hay detrás de un producto terminado y como se diferencia un objeto de serie a uno de autor, la dedicación y la vinculación espiritual que se tiene en el proceso, además de que personas interesadas puedan aprender y se motiven a dar el paso, todos tenemos un talento que nos pertenece por derecho de conciencia, al encontrarlo se debe tallar hasta visualizar esa perla que brilla en su interior.

Yo me encuentro tallando y obteniendo la maravillosa experiencia y los múltiples beneficios que regocija el espíritu más que la materia. Muchas veces no logramos enfocarnos en nuestra virtud o nuestro modelo de vida, pues a veces nos desenfocamos por los cánones sociales. La misión es a modo de trabajar con el maestro interior, y que los beneficios sean mutuos, ya que es una forma de retribuir aquello que me fue compartido, de ante mano, comunidad de hive bendiciones y paz profunda.
