A few days ago, the Bordes Cultural Foundation together with the Casa Ramos Sucre, the Cultural Direction of the UDO and the area of the Master's Degree in Latin American and Caribbean Literature (ULA) organized a Virtual Seminar through the Zoom platform entitled "Encounter with Liliana Lara". This virtual meeting brought together professors, students and literature lovers with the objective of listening to and getting to know more closely the renowned Venezuelan author who currently resides in Israel.
The moderation was in charge of Marisol García Romero, who guided the dialogue and left the interview in charge of teachers Adriana Cabrera and Luz Marina Rivas, both of whom asked Lara interesting questions, which allowed us to immerse ourselves in her creative world. I enjoyed this seminar because I was able to share a pleasant time between literature and life experiences that emerge and move from the real to the letters. Lara also showed great human warmth, which facilitated the connection between her, the participants and the audience. Definitely, the spoken word was the perfect vehicle to spend a very pleasant afternoon where stories, anecdotes and reflections on language flowed.
I thought this seminar was wonderful because it promotes culture and literary dialogue using current technology, which allows authors to connect with their audience without the need for meetings in a physical venue. In addition, it allowed me to interact with the writer, one of the aspects that I liked the most because an exchange of literary opinions flowed at a high level due to the presence of other recognized authors, theorists and critics in this event, so I had the luxury of rubbing elbows with part of the elite of Venezuelan literature.

Esta reunión virtual congregó a profesores, estudiantes y amantes de la literatura con el objetivo de escuchar y conocer más de cerca a la reconocida autora venezolana que actualmente reside en Israel.
La moderación estuvo a cargo de Marisol García Romero, quien guió el diálogo y dejó la entrevista a cargo de las profesoras Adriana Cabrera y Luz Marina Rivas, ambas realizaron preguntas interesantes a Lara, lo que permitió sumergirnos en su mundo creativo. Durante el encuentro, la destacada narradora compartió cómo fueron sus inicios en el mundo de las letras, su proceso de aprendizaje, sus referentes, la selección del lenguaje utilizado y algunas reflexiones que matizan su estilo único.

Vivencias en las ciudades de Maturín y Cumaná salieron a la luz, la escritora vivió en ambas, por tanto, las presenta como escenario y referencias geográficas y culturales en sus relatos.
Disfruté este seminario porque pude compartir un rato ameno entre literatura y experiencias de vida que emergen y se trasladan de lo real a las letras. Lara también mostró gran calidez humana, lo que facilitó la conexión entre ella, los participantes y los espectadores. Definitivamente, la palabra oral fue el vehículo perfecto para pasar una tarde muy agradable donde fluyeron las historias, anécdotas y reflexiones sobre el lenguaje.
Este seminario me pareció maravilloso porque promociona la cultura y el diálogo literario utilizando la tecnología actual, misma que permite enlazar a los autores con su público sin requerir de reuniones en un recinto físico. Además, se permitió interactuar con la escritora, uno de los aspectos que más me gustó porque fluyó un intercambio de opiniones literarias de gran nivel debido a la presencia de otros reconocidos autores, teóricos y críticos en este evento, así que me permití el lujo de codearme con parte de la élite de las letras venezolanas.
