Thursday Thoughtful Prompt #33

in ThoughtfulDailyPost3 days ago

Hello everyone eelcome to my blog 🤗.

The prompt this week is really intriguing; it calls for careful consideration in order to arrive at a suitable choice.

After giving the question some thought, I have finally made up my mind. In response to the question, I would be happy to donate my eyes to a blind infant.

Having reached the age of 80, I have lived through the entirety of life, from childhood to old age.
I have the opportunity to see things, know a lot of things by sight , I have been able to navigate my way all through my life without aid and now I'm given the opportunity to help an infant experience such about life. I will gladly do it knowing that my act is going to make someone happy.

I am aware that my vision is poor, and it is highly likely that I will require glasses in order to improve my vision due to old age.

But if the surgeon who is to carry out such surgery has done every test and has given us the assurance that the surgery will be possible and successful. Then I'm rest assured that the child will be able to go through life activities with my sight even if it will be with glasses.

With 80-year-old weak eyes, a blind infant will be able to appreciate the beauty of nature. The infant will be able to see his or her face and recognize every member of the family by their face rather than their voice or scent. The child can walk, read, and accomplish a variety of other tasks without the assistance of another person or a walking stick.

Without the shame associated with being blind, the child will grow up in freedom like all other children. Without help, the child will be able to attend school, make friends, and lead a typical life. The child will have the chance to see both their spouse and their children later in life.

As for me, I know it will be difficult to navigate life without my eyes, having lived my entire life without assistance. As a grandmother, I've seen my children and grandchildren, and I'm happy to help another human go through something similar.I'll hire a live-in nanny to help me with my daily tasks and other responsibilities. And if death comes, I'll be relieved to know that my eyes are still alive.

This is another form of fulfillment knowing someone be able to see and live life through your eyes

Yes you're right

Yes, that will make the infant to see each of the family members faces, and be thankful of the beauty of nature.
