Pulled by You.

It can only be done by you whether you enjoy it or not. There's nothing like an escape plan because that also includes your actions. The moment you were brought into this world, your presence in the world has been recorded, which is why you can't escape life.

No matter what your parents or guardians do, they can't do it all for you. There are instances in life's journey that have to be done by us. We have to face them and make decisions regarding them.

Whatever life forces you try to gather can only be pulled by you. For sure, you can have help along the way, but you still have to do something at the end of the day, and if you choose not, you still do something. Whether you remained silent or spoke out, the answer to your actions will be a record of how you'll continue living life.

This is why it is always better and mostly preferable when you learn how to do things yourself. When we allow others to take action for our lives, we end up being the third person in our life's history. The more we give to others to build for us, the more power they gain over our lives that we end up being useless without their interference in our lives.

The moment something happens to those people or that person, we break down to tiny particles, like a body without a soul. We become handicapped despite having the complete figure to continue living life. And if possible, those people outlive us, and our lives would still be meaningless because we've never had a thought of our own.

I have come across these kinds of people. People who can't make decisions for themselves. They are always looking for who to rely on, and that is bad for them and society. People who can be easily swayed. People whose mentality can be easily changed. It is quite unfortunate to see. Beings who can't think for themselves because all they need to do is to follow a celebrity's lifestyle.

It is a harsh reality of our world. Spare the rod and spoil the child! or so, the Bible said. A lot of parents have killed their children's thoughts while growing up. They have shut their voices and sense of reasoning, and unfortunately, the schools most of them attend do the very same thing. And with the internet, we get to see these sorts of people's comments on things.

Also, people like this end up getting married and having their children, but still, their home is not run by them. ”Whatever "Mom" or "Dad" says" is the final,” says a man who is supposed to be responsible for his home. "Our pastor says that.." replies a woman to her husband in a discussion that has nothing to do with the pastor. Children see this, and they learn. I have seen relationships come to an end because of this.

Therefore, if you are that kind of person, I hope you'd try to sit down and reflect on your life. And if you are someone who knows these kinds of people, I hope you don't judge them much. Teach them and ask for their opinions on things instead of telling them. Work with them, and hopefully, if they have the will to pull themselves up, their words will tally with their actions.

Still yours truly,
Balikis.

Thanks for reading and listening.

Peace be unto those who crave it and more to those who chase it away.

Whatever life forces you, you should be pulled by yourself only - this is what many need to listen to.

The example you gave about listening to Mom and Dad reminded me of some married man. I hate when adults can't make their own decisions.
