Hi, friends!
Do you know that Estonian rally star and leading Hyundai driver Ott Tanak won't be nominated for manufacturer's points in the last three events of the season? Yeah, that's true.
His team had to swap his engine with an old onefrom Adrien Fourmaux's car but that engine started to overheat which means that Tanak would get 5 minutes penalty on the following rally if Hyundai works team would put new engine in his car.
However, that applies only if he will be nominated for manufacturer's points. If not, there won't be any penalty. So, because he is still in the driver's title fight, he got clear from his team that he won't be nominated for points to avoid penalty and that way he is still in the Championship fight. Good stuff.
They tested these days somewhere in Germany, as the works teams do, professionaly. And that can be seen from the video - flat action from start until the end.
Please enjoy...
