Pajari tested with Toyota ahead of WRC Estonia and Finland rallies

in Rally8 days ago

Hi, friends!

As I said in one of previous posts, Estonian and Finnish round of World Rally Championship are very similar with very similar nature of special stages (very fast and with lots of jumps) but with smooth gravel roads (also very rutted on the 2nd pass through special stages because that gravel roads are very soft).

All this makes team's job easier because when they test, they do it for both events at once. FIA also helped with both events one after another so there is no gap between them.

Toyota's rookie Sami Pajari (JWRC and WRC2 champion) tested recently and he will try his best on the soil he knows the best because he is a Finn and that kind of rallies suit him the best. These two events are his chance of better results because this season he has one 4th place, three times 7th place and two accidents. He also had Super Rally at Acropolis Rally Greece which means out of points result.

This season is a learning curve for him and his team bosses at Toyota will have an understanding for him but he must finish in points as much as possible. I am sure that he will try his best in the 2nd part of the season.

We have a video from his test ahead of Estonian and Finnish rallies. Please enjoy in his determination...
