Friday night at ERC Rally Sierra Morena was reserved only for Cordoba city super special stage, very short and only for fans to see the cars very close to the public. That's why super special stages exist in the world of rallying.
Russian with Bulgarian (on mother's side) citizenship Nikolay Gryazin showed from the start that he is the fastest and strongest mentality guy outhere against all the European Rally Championship regulars.
OK, Gryazin is WRC regular for years and there he was used to fight against stronger competition then in ERC, but guys from European series are also good, especially local guys with plenty of experience and knowledge from the roads of event itself.
Jose Suarez ia one of them, driving Škoda Fabia RS Rally2, the same as Gryazin, but 28.8s of the lead. French ace Yoann Bonato was 3rd in Citroen C3 Rally2 while top five contains Andrea Mabellini (Škoda) and Mads Ostberg (Citroen).
Tomorrow is last day of rally and it would be a miracle if Gryazin would lose a lead, but in motorsport, everything is possible. Only one mistake and you are out of competition.
