FIA revealed WRC Islas de Canarias 2025 entry list

in Rally7 days ago

Hi, friends!

Seb Ogier is back. Eight-time World Rally champion is back after Monte Carlo Rallye win in January and it seems that his program in 2025 will be much shorter then in 2024, but you never know. We all know that he is capable of winning the series even with less number of events then competition.

Islas de Canarias rally is the first full tarmac event of the season it won't be dirty as at other tarmac rallies. Tarmac is very wide there without space for cutting with high curbs. The only bigger problem is unpredictable weather because, at the island, one part of it is sunny and dry, and at the other part it is raining. So, the tire choice will be challenging for all the crews.

There will be 63 crews at the ceremonial start ramp, 10 are in WRC1, more then 30 in WRC2 (37 crews), 8 crews in WRC3, and the rest of entrants are outside of competition for the Championship.
