Today we go thirty years in the past when there was still no WRC cars but an old Group A machinery as a top category in rallying. Subaru was rising and with signing of Carlos Sainz, Colin McRae and Pierro Liatti they had really strong lineup for that year.
Sainz immediately won Monte 2025 in front of 1994 winner Francois Delecour (Ford) who was coming back after heavy road accident (not connected with his rally career) and Juha Kankkunen (Toyota).
Times were different as well as sport itself. It is good to go into the past and remind ourself how the cars looked like thirty years ago.
