Ott Tanak left Hyundai WRC team because of frustration with them and when he realized he won't be signed by Toyota. That move left one seat to be fulfilled. They were thinking who else can be their caliber driver. And they decided to go for the safe option and experienced lineup.
Two drivers will do the whole season - Thierry Neuville and Adrien Fourmaux. Third car will be occupied by one of three drivers and they are: Dani Sordo, Hayden Paddon and Esapekka Lappi.
So we will see Neuville, Fourmaux and Paddon at Monte Carlo Rallye in January. What else is known that Lappi will be in 3rd car for Sweden while Sordo will start his program at his home rally of Spain.
