Hello rally fans :)!
When people think of record breaking moments in rallying, their minds usually go to fastest stage times or longest jumps, but the upcoming 2025 Central European Rally (CER) is adding something completely different to the list: For the first time in the WRC, Stages in three different countries will happen in one day !!!
Yuup, I wrote that right :)! Friday will be the main action day with stages: Granit und Wald, Böhmerwald and Col de Jan that will go through three different countries. IIn a time when many events are slimming down their formats, for CER to push the boundaries like this? Is pretty bold! (Cca) 312 kilometers of pure stage action are packed into this year’s event, (while the liaison will be around 1100km).
The rally only made its debut in 2023, but it’s already standing out as one of the most ambitious rounds on the calendar. With stages going across Germany, Austria, and the Czech Republic, the rally delivers a blend of all road types, and settings that make it genuinely unique and exciting!! And this year? Everything is bigger. More technical stages, tighter timing, and intense 4 days of action🤩. They’re truly building their signature identity.
